PEIK Trading has produced and distributed the classic PEIK vegetable peeler since 1927.
Every single peeler is still assembled by hand from Norwegian birch wood and German stainless steel, and is one of very few (maybe even the only) Norwegian kitchen utensil that is still domestically produced.
The PEIK peeler is found in almost every Norwegian home and a sample is on display at the Norwegian Museum of Decorative Arts and Design.
